It would as well make the entire place look neater if it is organized with a dominant color or shades from the theme color chosen.

Make the variety on the sizes and shapes or style of plants be the asset of the entire lawn. Arrange them in ways, it would pop out just like placing the tall ornaments on the corner. Then adding extra materials for decoration too.
