This technique is favorable by a lot of experts because it uses fewer materials which means there would be less expenses. Every builder aims to spend less while getting the best output. Seeing that Vancouver is still standing solidly up to this day, we could get the idea that this technique is apparently reliable.

Aside from that, the best advantage that this method offers is that its design does not attract termites, thus the structures below are safe from infestation. An easily infested foundation is very dangerous as it would ruin the structure and weaken the substructure which could cause the collapse of the existing infrastructures on top of it.

However, no matter how brilliant of an idea it is every system has faults. One of the disadvantages of this method is that it cannot be applied in places that have a cold temperature. The reason behind it is that the concrete slabs might end up cracking when it gets exposed by too much coldness.

Wherever we go and whatever we do it will always be an advantage to be knowledgeable about every little thing especially those that concern our safety. Being equipped with knowledge will save you from a lot of trouble in the long run.
